2018 Savigny les Beaune Rouge, 1er Cru Les Talmettes

Last night, I had dinner at Dunsmoor (where I work as a wine person) and we enjoyed the Simone Bize 1er Cru Les Talmettes 2019. Paired with "The Steak," a 6 oz hanger steak with a green peppercorn jus, and duck fat fries and a simple vin salad, the wine was elegant, balanced, and aromatic.

I can't find the '19 online anywhere but their American importer, The Source, has the '18 available online. The wine shines as it slowly opens up and I suggest only sharing it with 1 or 2 other people to really experience the bottle.
