Domaine Hubert Lamy Bourgogne Blanc Les Chataigniers 2022

Domaine Hubert Lamy makes incredible expressive chardonnays from St Aubin (as well as Montrachet) in Burgundy. This is their entry level "Bourgogne Blanc" that has grapes from vines between 1990 and 2008. They are grown organically and only sulfured lightly during aging to preserve them. Minimal new oak is used so they maintain freshness and vibrancy.

This is their entry level and it is still just under 100 dollars. Their village, 1er cru, and grand crus go for hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Entry level is still incredible and if 100 dollars is a lot to spend on a bottle (same here!), this is an unbelievable special occasion wine.
