Dominique Belluard Eponyme 2020

I drank this with my former coworker at Bar Etoile two weeks ago... It was delicate and soft with beautiful white florals and fruit notes. Belluard's last vintage before he tragically died in 2020, finished by Ganevat. Gringet is a rare grape from Savoie and before his passing Belluard mastered the varietal.

While it's increasingly difficult to drink his wines (even though they aren't too expensive if you do find them (only 80 something at Etoile)), his mentee Vincent Ruiz now runs the domaine under the name Domaine Gringet and is making beautiful wines as well.
