d line la metro

there’s a lot that has been said about the way angelenos move through the city— they don’t walk, they don’t take public transportation, they just drive.

and of course that’s not true, but there is truth in those statements. and as someone who grew up spending weekends in nyc, taking the subway, walking for miles, i do miss not circling the block for 10 minutes looking for parking.

i think what’s actually true is that if you have a car in la, you almost never take public transportation and i think we should change that!

i live in ktown, a measly block from the d line and ive been taking it more and more. it’s convenient, cheap and so nice not to sit in traffic. literally 8 minutes to pershing square!
